Our First Home

St. Paul congregation was organized in 1831 and served the community of Pine Grove Mills in this building since 1858. The former church building continues to function as a place of worship for the congregation of St. Albans Anglican Church. The Pine Grove Mills Union Cemetery, depicted here, is closed to new interments however Pine Grove Presbyterian does have a columbarium on site. The Pine Grove Mills Cemetery is located three blocks from this site along South Nixon Road.

Those Called to Serve

Pastor Robert Rohrbaugh served the congregation for 39 years, retiring May,1999. The Rev. Steven Claycomb was installed by Rev. Gregory Pile, bishop of the Allegheny Synod, on Sunday, February 18, 2001 and served as pastor until December 31, 2006. The Rev. Kelley Baxter was called to St. Paul in June 2009, and was ordained and installed on July 18, 2009. Pastor Baxter served as pastor until July 2013. On May 31, 2015 the St. Paul Congregation voted unanimously to call Rev. Paul Tomkiel as its spiritual leader.  Pastor Tomkiel was ordained at Allegheny Synod Assembly on June 4, 2015, began serving as Pastor on July 1, 2015, and was installed on September 20, 2015.
